Coastal Luxe – Freshwater

Project Scope

Revamper was recommended to our lovely clients in Freshwater by their builder who we had worked with on a number of projects previously.

Initially we were engaged to assist with the kitchen design and space planning for the open planned kitchen, living and dining room. The scope later grew to include the master suite, bathrooms, bedrooms, guest suite and laundry.

Our clients had a clear vision for this project which really helped us to create a cohesive theme throughout the home.

The overall style that we were tasked to create was a Coastal Luxe vibe. The client had expectations of a very light and bright home with consistent joinery details throughout each of the rooms. Luxurious brass fixtures were used to bring some warmth into the spaces and also create points of interest like glistening gems that capture your attention.

The use of materials and textures such as natural stone and fluted paneling alongside natural timber elements create a home that is tactile and intriguing.

There are definitely some showstopping design elements in this project. For us there are 2 stand outs:

  •  The Kitchen Island: This mammoth 4.8m long entertainers dream is constructed of Silestone’s Ethereal Glow Engineered Stone. Curved from all angles a process called thermoforming was used to bend the stone creating seamless curves with limited joins. Accommodating seating for up to 8 people the bench area wraps around the end of the island so that guests are able to sit opposite each other. This is a really practical set up for any island.
  • The Master Ensuite: Continuing the curved theme this oversized ensuite boasts a huge double shower, natural timber vanity and a luxurious freestanding bath on an elevated platform with views across Freshwater Beach. It’s the perfect place to relax away the day’s stress.
